Lies Against Agyeman-Budu Fail To Fly

Politics within Ejisu New Patriotic Party (NPP) is becoming incongruous, petty and coarse, as lies have become the order of the day.

The latest attempt by certain persons to make the managing director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) their quarry has failed big time.

Claims by those elements that Mr. Kwame Agyeman-Budu held a meeting with some party people on March 6, 2022, to fashion out how to run down the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr. John Kumah, have turned out to be false.

Mr. Agyeman-Budu travelled out of Ghana on March 1, 2022 and at the time of going to press he was still out of the country and could not have been part of any meeting at Ejisu on March 6, 2022.

The agenda against Mr. Agyeman-Budu was that he was part of a meeting and shared some monies to some party people to make Mr. Kumah unpopular.

The ECG boss was part of Ghana’s energy sector delegation that flew to Dubai recently to participate in the Expo 2020.

Mr. Agyeman-Budu, unhappy with happenings within the Ejisu NPP, officially wrote to the Ashanti Region NPP about the conduct of the MP.

He complained in the letter that the MP and his assigns were peddling falsehoods about him and wants the party to bring them to order.
